Senator David Osmek Talks with Housing First Leadership

After a brief August recess, Housing First Minnesota is continuing the future of housing conversation with candidates vying to occupy the Governor's residence on Summit Avenue.

On Tuesday, Senator David Osmek (R, Mound), discussed regulatory requirements, the role of the Metropolitan Council, the construction workforce shortage and more.

We know that regardless of who is elected, we need to be able to communicate the key issues that are facing the housing/construction industry. We believe that discussions like these are extraordinarily valuable as we look towards the future of Minnesota’s housing industry.
— Daryl Doehr, Housing First 2017 Chair

Over the coming weeks, all major gubernatorial candidates will be invited to meet with the task group of housing industry leaders.
