More homes are built in the 2nd Congressional District than anywhere in the state. That's why Thursday's dialogue between Housing First Minnesota members and Congressman Jason Lewis was so important.

Amongst the various housing issues discussed during the hour-long gathering were the future of Waters of the United States (WOTUS) and addressing the technical and vocational workforce shortage.

Engaging with elected officials at all levels of government is vital to advance the message of housing affordability. We were pleased to meet with Congressman Lewis to discuss the numerous regulatory pressures and workforce challenges that face the housing industry.
